Walkers' Hut

Our Walker's Hut is open to residents and public. It is perfectly situated right next to the South West Coast path running down from Bolt Head Airfield and not too far from Soar Mill Cove. We provide teas, locally produced juices and drinks, locally produced ice cream, fresh coffee, cream teas and freshly baked cakes. The farm has pet sheep, pony, donkeys, pygmy goats as well as a wonderful adventure trail for children.  A small rustic playground opposite the Walkers' Hut makes it ideal for parents to relax while children play in a safe environment.  East Soar is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the farm has excellent access to the many footpaths that run off along the coast, down to the many hidden coves and sandy beaches. To ensure the safety of the many children and walkers that visit us we politely ask our visitors to park in the National Trust Car park at the top of our lane and walk down to the farm yard. During a few weekends in May, June, July, September and October we host wedding receptions on the farm.  The Walkers' Hut is then closed for the day.  Please refer to the Diary section for specific dates. Dogs are welcome inside our Walkers' Hut but we politely ask that they be kept on a lead at all times.
